About the role
Valtech is looking for a People Partner, Nordic P&C to cover for a 1-year parental leave. We are based in central Stockholm, right next to the city hall and offer a hybrid way of working.
As a People Partner, you will play a crucial role in aligning our people strategy with business objectives. You will partner with leaders to foster a positive workplace culture, drive employee engagement, and support talent development across the Nordic region. The People Partner is also expected to support general admin and selected areas within People & Culture operations.
We’re looking for a People Partner with a few years of relevant experience and education. However, there's also room to grow in the role, and we’ll place strong emphasis on your communication and collaboration skills.
We have a set start date for this position and would like you to start in August 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- You will act as a trusted advisor to people managers, providing guidance on employee relations and P&C policies.
- Oversee HR administrative tasks, maintain employee personnel records and ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with policies.
- Provide policy and procedure guidance to employees and management as well as responding to human resources-related inquiries.
- Prepare paperwork and schedules for smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary.
- Admin leave of absences and guide employees and managers on rules and policies.
- Manage HRIS and reporting.
- Submits accurate governmental compliance survey data on a regular basis.
- Represents P&C in community and company events.
